Beyond her role in the library, she is a certified career and life coach, with professional affiliations including the Asia Pacific Career Development Association (APCDA), the National Career Service (NCS), and the Career Counselling Institute (CCI). Malavika Kishore’s multifaceted background as a distinguished academician, practicing librarian, teacher, researcher, homemaker, and counselor has shaped her into a well-rounded and accomplished professional. As an experienced counselor, Malavika has played a pivotal role in reforming society through her guidance and support. She understands the importance of addressing mental health issues, providing emotional assistance, career guidance and counseling and helping individuals navigate through life’s challenges. Her empathetic approach enables her to create a safe space for individuals to express themselves freely and seek guidance without judgment.

In her current position as a librarian at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti), Malavika continues to make a difference by managing resources that foster intellectual growth among students.
